Description:

Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Bangalore to spearhead next-generation technology automation and artificial intelligence infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure, cloud security governance, and MLOps. You will design, develop, and test complex automated pipelines to reduce recovery times, manage secrets/key rotations, and secure cloud workloads using Agile frameworks. A primary objective of this role is building scalable, AI-assisted automation frameworks and governing MLOps pipelines for Large Language Model (LLM) applications while adhering to strict financial regulatory, risk, and compliance baselines.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional hands-on expertise engineering, designing, and maintaining complex enterprise infrastructure systems and environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for constructing scalable scripts, custom problem-solving, and automated modules. Strong working knowledge of Ansible, including advanced playbook engineering and modular role development.
• Proven experience developing and consuming secure REST APIs to integrate custom automation suites across disjointed enterprise platforms.
• Concrete hands-on experience setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions or Jenkins, with deep familiarity in pipeline-as-code patterns and SDLC automation practices.
• Mastery of Git workflows for multi-engineer repository collaboration, branch management, and code integrity.
• Foundational exposure to Generative AI architectures, including LLMs, prompt engineering, vector embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Functional familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex is considered a major asset.
• Practical understanding of MLOps concepts optimized specifically for deploying, monitoring, scaling, and managing the runtime costs of LLM-powered enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated ability to review and engineer security barriers, handle automated secrets management, and build frameworks for dynamic cryptographic key rotations.
• Direct experience implementing systemic changes under strict corporate policies, managing daily risk flows, and setting standards that ensure total auditability and business continuity.
• Strong lead engineering capabilities to guide technical cross-functional squads. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sharp analytical troubleshooting instincts, and the organizational capacity to multitask under high-pressure timelines.
